Built to Order
All Quality Transformer and Electronics parts are "Built to Order". Once we receive your specifications, we begin the process of designing, drafting, and manufacturing your solution. This ensures your part is not only tested, but delivers on the promise that your parts are built to last.
Efficiency is key to Quality Transformer and Electronics' quality and delivery. Whether we are manufacturing a single unit or running a production line in the hundreds or even thousands, each job is extensively documented allowing for each part to be kitted by our material prep department. Our paper sheeting machine allows us to precisely cut hundreds of sheets of insulation paper in a matter of minutes. Once all the material is prepped it is delivered directly to the appropriate station, keeping each operator working without having to lose efficiency hunting down materials.
With over 35 modern winding machines, Quality Transformer and Electronics can wind almost any size wire and produce virtually any type of coil. Our winders are expert craftsmen and can produce high voltage coils, high current coils, cast coils, unique shaped coils and water cooled coils for applications in dry type, oil filled and gas filled transformers. We have the winding machines to accommodate both low and high production volumes. Quality Transformer and Electronics understands that value of recognizing the job of winding as a true craft that takes many years to master. Our winding team has an average tenure of over 15 years.
Quality Transformer and Electronics has a complete fabrication shop. To meet the tenants of lean manufacturing, Quality Transformer and Electronics utilizes many qualified suppliers. However, we employ skilled fabricators to staff our complete fabrication facility. Our internal fabrication department gives Quality Transformer and Electronics the ability to provide our customers a quick turnaround. If our vendor is unable to help us meet our requirements, we are set up to do it ourselves.
Whether your assembly requires a custom-cut core using our internally designed automated sheer, an EI-Lamination, Ferrite materials, an Air Core or any other exotic high grade electrical steel, Quality Transformer and Electronics has the tools and manufacturing skill to assemble almost any type of unit. Our assemblers take great pride in ensuring that gaps are set perfectly to specifications (when gaps are required) and the core is stacked square and tight for higher efficiency and reduced audible noise.
Quality Transformer and Electronics vacuum impregnates (VCI) a vast majority of the transformers we build. Our vacuum-impregnation can add another degree of protection as well as reduce audible noise while adding mechanical strength. In addition to a large vacuum impregnation tank, Quality Transformer and Electronics has a 75 cubic foot vacuum chamber for producing cast coils.
