These transformers transform a rectangular, trapezoidal, or other non-sinusoidal pulse to interface a low voltage control circuit to a high voltage, high power pulse for radars, linear accelerators, or specialized medical oncology equipment. Quality Transformer and Electronics is familiar with all the unique requirements for powering furnaces. We have experience producing Furnace Transformers, Rectifier Transformers and Rectifier Assemblies used in semiconductor processing, induction furnaces, vacuum furnaces and metallurgical furnaces. Our engineers can design a three phase transformer and/or rectifier to accommodate up to five zones for each three phase unit, allowing separate zones to be powered with different power levels at different times. In a 12 pulse DC rectifier system an Inter-Phase Transformer is often used to balance the current on the Delta-Wye secondary. Whether Quality Transformer and Electronics is designing the entire 12 pulse rectifier or only providing our customer with an Inter-Phase Transformer for their 12 pulse rectifier, we can design and manufacture an Inter-Phase Transformer up to 25,000 Amps.

Quality Transformer and Electronics has experience designing and manufacturing custom ZigZag Transformers used for grounding as well as Zigzag Transformers used to create a vector phase shift. A ZigZag Grounding Transformer can be used to effectively create a ground where one is not available, while the ZigZag Vector Phase Shift Transformer is designed to trap triplen harmonic currents (3rd, 9th, 15th, 21st). Each ZigZag design can be created with a specific impedance.
