Transformer Design Engineer

The successful Transformer Design Engineer candidate will have a BS in Electrical Engineering or
equivalent design experience and demonstrated abilities in the following areas:

· Transformer design 0.1 to 500 KVA, up to 1 MVA desired
· High Voltage experience, 35-150 KV range
· Thermal design and layout experience
· Experience with AutoCAD desired
· Experience in oil and dry type transformers
· Experience in coil winding process
. Experience with UL, CSA and TUV specifications and interface.

The engineer must be able to design to customer specifications, will be involved in all phases of
magnetics engineering, from proposals through product development including technical interface
with customers to achieve high reliability, rugged, manufacturable transformers.

Excellent communication skills are necessary and at least 2 years experience in design, covering a
broad range of magnetic components
